The Texas One Fund held its annual fundraiser last night with dignitaries across the Longhorn spectrum in attendance. From coaches, to players, to administrators and ardent supporters and even celebrities and politicians, like Joe Rogan and Tulsi Gabbard, it was an event to behold. Lynyrd Skynyrd, Leon Bridges and Parker McCollum were the musical guests. Held at DKR, guests were seated on the football field. It also included both live and silent auctions of donated prizes. Texas Hoops: Sean Miller putting together the tallest roster ever at Texas Sean Miller and staff added 7-foot-1 international center Lewis Obiorah Saturday, adding to what is now very likely the tallest roster in Texas basketball history. The Longhorns have added six new players to the roster with two more spots available to be filled. The six players added are 7-foot-1, 7-foot, 6-foot-10, 6-foot-8, 6-foot-7 and a 6-foot-4 combo guard. Well, Texas took another three star recruit on Friday. Austin Anderson defensive back Yaheim Riley is not among the top 100 players in the country by any service. Another! The Longhorns continue their hot stretch with a commitment from 2026 Austin Anderson DB Yaheim Riley Friday afternoon! Riley had previously been committed to Houston before a Texas offer gave him second thoughts and eventually the commitment comes as the 8th in the class for the Longhorns. Riley joins Hayward Howard Jr. and potentially Jermaine Bishop Jr. as defensive backs in the class. Temple EDGE Jamarion Carlton to OV at Texas June 6–8 The Longhorns will receive an official visit from one of the state’s top defensive linemen in Temple DL Jamarion Carlton. Carlton will head to Austin to see the Longhorns the weekend of June 6–8, which was previously slotted for SMU. Bang!! The Longhorns are back on the board in the 2026 class with the commitment of Willis CB Jermaine Bishop! A huge win for the Longhorns with one of the freakiest athletes in the state of Texas opting to join the 2026 class. This is the second commitment for the Longhorns in a week span, both of which coming in the defense backfield as Bishop joins Edna Karr CB Hayward Howard jr. Texas hosted Bishop multiple times this semester, including his most recent trip to Austin for the Texas fan fest day on April 26. After an amazing start to conference play, Texas baseball has come back down to earth. The Longhorns have lost five of their last six conference contests by a combined run total of 42-17. Yet the Horns still have a two-game lead in conference. Texas needs to win two of three against Oklahoma this coming weekend to secure the regular season crown. More concerning is the post-season.
