The Longhorns continue their pursuit of more than 15 blue chip prospects who will make their decisions over the next two- to two-and-a-half weeks. And the first one starts today at around 6pm when Alabama running back Zavier Crowell announces his school choice. In that decision, most would say the smart money expects the Crimson Tide to prevail. But Steve Sarkisian is recruiting Crowell personally. This one is expected to be Alabama or Texas, with Auburn and Georgia rounding out the four in contention. It was quite the day for the Longhorns, as they landed two players out of the portal who will immediately make the team better. We first saw Texas get a commitment from Stanford’s Temo Becerra.
