Beginning in 2027, the committee proposes that teams can move to a 7-week spring/summer camp with a total of 21 practices. That is up from the 15 practices currently allowed. While several players went home over the long weekend before returning yesterday afternoon, Texas receiver Ryan Wingo stayed in Austin to receive ongoing treatment for the thumb he dislocated against Vanderbilt.
