Following the article published in The Athletic this morning stating that Texas coach Steve Sarkisian is looking for a job in the NFL, I received the following comment: "Zero truth to that," an internal source said of the report. Five-star cornerback and Texas commit John Meredith III has reclassified to 2026 and will join the Longhorns this fall, OnTexasFootball has learned. He’s now part of a 26-man high school class the Longhorns signed that ranked No. 7 in the country. Ouchita Parish (La.) DL Dylan Berymon tweeted late Tuesday evening he would be re-opening his recruitment. Berymon had been flirting with other SEC programs with Ole Miss being the biggest contender. Berymon committed to the Longhorns on June 7th after his official visit in the summer. Notre Dame outfielder Bino Watters visited Texas A&M during the earlier part of this weekend, followed by visiting Texas yesterday through this morning. That visit is now wrapped up and Watters will head home. I’ve spoken to people on both sides of this recruitment and what I can tell you is that it went really well for the Longhorns.
