Player of the Week accolades have been released from the SEC after week seven action and three Longhorns are receving notice. *** Colin Simmons Named the Co-Defensive Lineman of the Week. After losing multiple support staff members this offseason, it was expected that the Longhorns would be looking to fill certain roles. According to FootballScoop.com, Steve Sarkisian is doing exactly that and is now set to hire Arkansas Pine Bluff’s Chris Forestier as a Special Assistant to the Head Coach. Forestier was originally hired as UA-Pine Bluff’s special teams coordinator and tight ends coach in March. Sean Miller Press Conference Availability Texas men's basketball head coach Sean Miller will speak with the Texas media on Monday. The Longhorns are back in action on Tuesday against Rider at the Moody Center. Tip off will be at 8:00 p.m. Over the weekend, the Longhorns won a 71–55 contest over Kansas City, a game that probably would classify as the sloppiest of the season. AUSTIN, Texas — Pflugerville Weiss four-star receiver Tre Moore took the trek down I-35 to visit Texas last Saturday, getting his first look at a new Longhorns wide receiver. “It was my first time seeing Cam Coleman,” Moore told OTF. “It was good to see someone that has my same body type, body frame, and see how they’re using him and everything. “It was a really good practice. Texas hosted Miami (Fla.) Coral Gables defensive lineman Stive-Bentley Keumajou Yondui last weekend for an unofficial visit. It was a makeup trip for the talented 6-foot-2.5, 295-pounder after his flight got cancelled earlier this month. Four-star locks in Texas official visit Texas offensive line coach Kyle Flood offered 4-star offensive tackle Grayson McKeogh (Glenside, Pa./La Salle College High) on Monday after an in-person evaluation. The redshirt sophomore transferred in to Texas last fall after pitching one season at McLennan Community College after transferring from LSU. He is also no longer listed on the Texas Baseball roster.
