TAMPA, Fla. — Texas will open SEC play this September against Tennessee from Neyland Stadium. It’s the first time the Longhorns will have faced the Vols since 1969. Texas will get an official visit from South Palding (Ga.) linebacker Joakim Gouda for the weekend of June 12-14, he announced Wednesday. Gouda told OTF that he would be on campus for an unofficial during the weekend of March 10th, one day after spring football kicked off. The Longhorns are making a run at one of the quickest rising prospects in the deep south. The 6-foot-2-inch linebacker currently holds 29 offers. 2027 K Noah Ash Sets Texas OV *** The Longhorns will receive an official visit from 2027 K Noah Ash on the weekend of June 19th. Jeff Banks and the Texas specialist assistants are going back out to Florida this cycle. Ash calls Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida home. At the moment, Ash is ranked as the No. 2 kicker in the 247Sports rankings and according to Chris Sailer, he is the No. 7 kicker in the country.
