Four-star DL locks in Texas official visit Port Charlotte (Fla.) High 4-star defensive lineman Myron Charles made a first unofficial visit to Texas a week ago today. Seven days later, the disruptive tackle is scheduled to return in June. Charles, 6-4 and 290 pounds, is scheduled to make an official visit to Texas June 14-16 according to a source close to the recruitment. Texas joins the Sunshine State trio of powers scheduled to receive official visits. The Florida Gators are on the books first May 31-June 2. The 2026 NFL Draft won’t break records for Texas, but a handful of Longhorns are expected to be selected in the coming days — a feat that shouldn’t be taken for granted considering that after this year’s draft the Longhorns will have had more players taken in the last four years than Texas had from 2011-2021 combined (31 if you were wondering).
