Dakorien Moore on his three finalists Duncanville, Texas - Duncanville High 5-star wide receiver Dakorien Moore is down to three schools with a decisions expected prior to his senior season. Moore, 5-11 and 175 pounds, will begin the official process next weekend with a visit to Ohio State. Following the trip to Columbus, Moore will play in OT7 Nationals June 7-9. Late Wednesday evening saw the Longhorns extend an offer to another rising California athlete – this time it goes to Brandon Arrington Jr. out of Mount Miguel High School in Spring Valley, California. Arrington Jr. possesses elite speed and combines that with a 6-foot-2 frame. This spring, the Mount Miguel standout clocked a 10.43 time in the 100m dash this spring. There is legit D1 track interest here as well. So far in his recruitment, Arrington Jr. possesses 27 offers and was offered by Georgia earlier this afternoon. Texas has taken no backseats to anyone in recruiting since Steve Sarkisian and his staff arrived in at the turn of the calendar in 2021. Coming from Alabama, where talent was basically like sand particles in a desert, to Texas where you essentially had to shake and tilt vending machines to get what you asked for originally, it was a bit of a shock for the staff. Of course, then there is the famous line from Steve Sarkisian in regards to the offensive line having almost half as many scholarship roster spots as wide receiver. Texas has extended an offer to 2026 Manoah Faupusa out of Los Alamitos, Calif. The 6-foot-3-inch and 300-pound defensive lineman now holds six offers after receiving USC, UNLV, San Jose State, Colorado and Arizona in the spring of 2023. Nobody in Austin is surprised Dakorien Moore de-committed from LSU. For us at OTF, it was a matter of when. After Moore and family members visited earlier in the spring, I had it at 51% for Texas.
