Texas extended an offer to San Bernardino (Calif.) Cajon offensive tackle Austin Attalah on Friday. The 2028 prospect, fittingly named Austin, says the Longhorns are now his No. 1 school. Texas has taken no backseats to anyone in recruiting since Steve Sarkisian and his staff arrived in at the turn of the calendar in 2021. Coming from Alabama, where talent was basically like sand particles in a desert, to Texas where you essentially had to shake and tilt vending machines to get what you asked for originally, it was a bit of a shock for the staff.
