The Texas Longhorns extended an offer today to Melissa High 2026 SG Austin Goosby. Goosby, 6-6, is the younger brother of Texas backup left tackle Trevor Goosby. I have to hand it to Texas, they’ve kept a tight lid on the coaching situation and it’s been tough to get concrete info. 2026 Aledo RB Raycine Guillory Jr. has re-opened his recruitment and decommitted from the Texas 2026 class. Guillory previously had committed to Texas following his first trip to campus on January 20. The Aledo RB had been rehabbing a knee injury and was unable to participate in track this spring as well. Texas just added its 2026 QB in Dia Bell and have continued to recruit the RB position in the state of Texas heavily with Tradarian Ball, Javian Osborne, KJ Edwards and several others headlining the position. The final official visit weekend of the month of June will see upwards of 20 prospects arrive on campus for a weekend stay at The University of Texas in the next 24 hours. So far this month, Texas has earned one commitment based off of the official visits, with a handful awaiting to go public. Texas has found their QB for the class of 2026! Dia Bell, out of American Heritage High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, has committed to The University of Texas. The big decision of the 2026 class at the quarterback position has been decided. Texas hosted several quarterbacks June 1 for the Elite Camp — most notably Bell and California QB Troy Huhn. Though, we now clearly know where the Longhorns opted to go with their QB spot in the 2026 class. Over the weekend it was announced that Stanford Softball ace pitcher NiJaree Canady would be entering the transfer portal. Texas fans immediately wanted to know if the Longhorns would be interested and for good reason. This past season for the Cardinal, Canady posted a 0.73 ERA and 337 strikeouts with only 44 walks. Kelshaun Johnson post visit update OnTexasFootball spoke just now with Kelshaun Johnson. The 4-star WR from Hitchcock (Texas) High told OTF that Texas and Texas A&M are 50-50 after the weekend. Johnson also said he’s unsure if he will make the June 21-23 OV to USC this weekend. This will be a Texas vs Texas A&M decision, and could be sooner rather than later.

Jeff Banks has extended an offer to 2026 tight end Camden Jensen Saturday morning. Jensen, a 6-foot-6-inch prospect out of Littleton, Colorado, currently holds 19 offers with Texas being the latest. He camped at Missouri Friday afternoon as well. The month of May was a busy one for Jensen, receiving offers from LSU, Florida State, Florida and Colorado all in the span of about a week. Jensen visited Nebraska at the end of April as well.
