The Longhorns have looked dominant this season. The entire three-game stretch has been complete domination. Texas has outscored opponents 139-19. No team has even been within two scores of Texas during a single second half, not even defending national champ, Michigan. Checked in on the status for the Texas quarterback following the Tuesday morning practice session ahead of the ULM game. First and foremost, to reiterate what Steve Sarkisian and several sources have mentioned to me, this is not expected to be a long-term thing for Quinn Ewers. Barring a setback, I would definitely expect Ewers to be healthy for the meeting with Oklahoma in Dallas on October 12. There is some belief that the abdomen strain suffered by Ewers was a lingering issue from the week prior that flared up against UTSA. I was asked a question last night by a friend. He asked if a certain player, who did not play against UTSA, was in the "doghouse". I didn't know the answer for sure, so we checked with a couple of sources, and no, said player is definitely not in the doghouse. But that inquiry led to a few more questions.
