Texas has earned a commitment and signature from Florida State punter Mac Chiumento following a visit on Sunday. Chiumento recorded 27 punts in 2025 for the Seminoles, averaging 44.0 yards per attempt and a long of 55. Of his 27 attempts, 13 ended up inside the 20 as well. View full news story

For the second straight season the Texas women's basketball team has advanced to the Final Four. The No. 1-seeded Longhorns overwhelmed No. 2 seed Michigan, 77-41, on Monday evening. Texas will now face fellow No. 1 seed UCLA on Friday night in Phoenix (8:30 p.m. CT/ESPN). The Longhorns were led by Madison Booker's 19 points and Rori Harmon's 13 assists. Interior offensive lineman Keyon Hemphill-Woods will announce his commitment on Friday, April 10, at 6p.m. CT. The Columbus (Texas) product will choose between Auburn, TCU, Texas, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech. The Longhorns offered the 6-foot-3, 275-pounder on the first day of spring ball last month. Four-star cornerback Dhillon McGee out of Red Oak (Texas) will announce his commitment on June 25, he confirmed on Tuesday morning. The finalists are Texas, Penn State, and SMU. McGee will officially visit Austin June 19-21, meaning the Longhorns will have the last crack at the in-state cornerback during OV season.
