Problem is, you can't recruit the best OL talent anymore, because of NIL. So relying on just HS OL is not a great idea. Especially if your development isn't top notch. Now in saying that, you potentially lose 3 of your starting OL next year and possibly 4 if Goosby thinks he can get a good grade in the draft. Are we going to rely on recruited talent again after this year? Now I don't think you just recruit anyone out of the portal, but they need to figure out what they want to do offensively, instead of trying to force scheme's that don't/aren't working. This is true of Sark wanting to run 12 personnel all the time but he doesn't recruit TE's who are capable blockers, so that kinda makes it moot.

There's no room for him to see the field. My opinion is you'll see him way more next year.

I'd love to see us get more INT's, feels like our DB's don't make a lot of plays on the ball. One thing is, I'd love to see PK continue to send his guys after teams. Feels like he pulled back in that 4th quarter, when he should've been continuing to get after Pavia. There also seems to be some disconnect between Akina and PK, maybe I'm wrong on that. A lot of people don't seem to think Akina will be here next year anyway. Getting Taaffe and McDonald back will be huge, but they were there for Florida and Kentucky. Both games they gave up a ton of yards. They really need to get that fixed because these next 3 teams can put points up in bunch's. Anyway, good write up per usual, Jeff.

Here's the thing that would make this so easy, if he had broken the plane, as Guilbeau was tackling him out of bounds it would've knocked the pylon. Except the pylon never moves. Among most of the missed calls (egregious ones, not every fan calling for holding on every play) and the calls they made for Vandy down the stretch, that should warrant that this crop are never allowed to ref games again.

It's crazy to me how many good jobs are open. There isn't enough big time names to go around, so some of these programs are going to need to take a shot on a guy. Traylor to Auburn is not one I was expecting, but I hope he is a serious contender. Would love to see what he can do at a big time program. Will Morris at UNT be a candidate for any jobs? Who knows. Where will Kiffin land? Does he take the Florida/LSU job or stay with Ole Miss. What a fun off-season this is going to be. Not to mention that Florida State might open up soon.

I recall several against Miss State, especially that shovel pass lol. Florida torched them, too. UTEP found gaps. It's been there all year, we just haven't seen it to the degree now. Though I do agree that we had guys playing that haven't much experience that had to sub in. Not really sure what the issue is tbh. Some of the blown coverages against Vandy are inexcusable. 4th and 19 shouldn't have a wide open dude, 67 yard TD to their best receiver, etc.

How we have a dude running that wide open on 4th and 19 is wild to me. I said in another post that PK need to make sure that Akina is meshing with the front 7, so far this season not really.
