After the Hill news as much as it pains me to say… Aggy 38 Texas 28 I don’t see us stopping them. No Smith or Hill means a field day between the hashes to the TEs and poor run fits.

The lack of defense has made this a game we’re not sure about. We were confident in our defense and now we’re not. The defense was supposed to be the strength. Really disappointing how they have regressed.

No idea which Texas team shows up. At home we’ve been fairly consistent though. The crowd has to be fever pitch and the team has to be fired up.

You should be. 30 plus points 4 straight weeks. Arkansas had over 500’yards offense. Insert backup and no problem. He throws for 200 in a half. The regression of the defense is staggering at this point. We’ve not an elite defense right now and I’m not sure we’re even good half the time. Extremely disappointed in that side of the ball. The bright spot was seeing Kade Phillips compete. He’s gonna be alright. Same with Littleton. On the 40 the least amount of time and they are playing the best right now arguably. Fire Akina yesterday.

Imo we are closer to falling apart than having any business in a CFP. This program needs a reboot specially Sarkisian badly. There are a lot of problems under the surface. I hope there is someone that I’m not aware of that is an adult in the room speaking wise words of council and has a plan in place to right this ship. I have my doubts and Texas football is in a precarious spot…again.

Sarkisian needs someone who will audit the program with an honest assessment and be a heavy hand. Honestly he could use Gary Patterson again. It won’t happen but I would love it if Saban came around somehow if Sark asked him.

That nail was put in the coffin last night. Honestly it started with OU beating Alabama. Texas only had one play and they got clapped instead of fighting.

If we get blown out at home to Arkansas that won’t go well with the people that matter. This better not happen

You may want to see why Coach was gone? It might change your tune. Also, Flood is the OC and paid to do a job. He doesn’t call plays but he’s paid for that title and he has input.

I think this was a case with unusual circumstances where trust was overextended. Sarkisian had some off field things and needed his staff to step up. Flood was trusted and he dropped the ball in a big way. Not to mention these guys have shown minimal improvement since arriving. The Stroh and Neto thing was weird by itself. We had one class carry the load for years basically and then the chickens came home to roost. This is a long time coming imo. Sark hasn’t given the Oline the attention it’s needed from a financial standpoint perhaps but Flood did this program no favors through eval and development.

I may be alone but I’ll be fairly shocked if Texas doesn’t take a couple of linemen in the portal. You simply cannot replicate what happened this year in Manning’s final season in Austin. Hope is not an answer and that’s what Texas would be doing.
