ESPN has predicted Texas offensive lineman Christian Jones to rise up draft boards when the NFL Draft happens in late April. One AFC scout told them Jones could be a 3rd or 4th round pick when it’s all said and done.

I posted this yesterday, but I'll add it again here:

It's long, but definitely worth a watch.

Definitely. We had the video with Coach Pierce on Thursday and will have a much more in depth piece in the next week or two that previews the team. I'm going to write a preview over the weekend and have it out next week as well. Also, we will have Texas Softball HC Mike White on Coffee and Football this upcoming week!

Here's my best guess, although I'm not as familiar with them as I am schools like TCU and Tech. C - Ian Daugherty 1 - Colin Brueggemann 2 - No clue. Not sure if I guy like Aidan Meola could slide into 2nd or if they'll use a freshman/transfer I'm not aware of. SS - Lane Forsythe (Miss St transfer) 3 - Tyler Wulfurt OF - Nolan Schubart, Zach Ehrhard, Carson Benge (will also pitch. UTIL player... like UT's Ace Whitehead)

I don’t think they’ll lose anywhere near the amount of players Alabama does, but they’ll definitely lose a few notables I bet.

I’ll see what I can do. Thank you for the suggestion!

I had four of the five on my fantasy football team. This is the first year I’ve ever won the league. Herbert was my QB until he got hurt, then I rode the Jordan Love bus all the way to the championship.

Georgia and Wisconsin both offered within the last 24 hours, FYI.

I'm going to tell him you said so when I pick him up to head to Brock in a few hours!

You're welcome! Some days I do it right after the show is over and then some days (like today), it might be 45-60 mins afterward. But I try to always do so!

My question is, how much does his production improve next season with Raheem Morris taking over for the Falcons?

Some really good DB discussion this morning on C&F. Bobby and CJ went in depth on Brooks, Muhammad and more. I just added the "chapters" to this morning's episode, so it's easy to find if you missed it.

Despite losing a couple of big time bats, I expect them to be really good offensively. Their problem is going to be pitching, just like last season. They got dudes who can throw the hell out of the ball, but like I tell my kid... what good will that do you if you can't control it. Basically, expect their football team to rub off on the baseball team. A lot of offense. Not a lot of defense.

And if I had a vote: TCU, Texas, Texas Tech, KSU, Oklahoma State, West Virginia, Oklahoma, Houston, Kansas, UCF, Baylor, Cincinnati, BYU in that order.

Also, ICYMI, Coach Pierce sat down with us yesterday to discuss the upcoming season. Quality content right here.

It’s all going to come down to pitching. If Texas can hold steady there, they can win the Big 12 on the way out. And my apologies… I meant to post this yesterday but half of my household is battling the flu (not this guy though!).

Received two 1st place votes, but hard to argue with TCU being No. 1. View full news

I think my son and I may run down there for the Vanderbilt game. He wants to go play for them so bad. I, of course, am all about him staying a bit closer to home but I obviously get it. He got to stop by and see the campus over the Holidays.

One guy I have high hopes for: Grant Fontenot. He did some really, really good things at the JUCO level after leaving LSU and I’m so excited to see what he can do this year on a much bigger stage. He was actually the No. 1 LA kid coming out of HS. https://texassports.com/sports/baseball/roster/grant-fontenot/12900

This made me laugh.
