I made it to back to Williamson County for tonight’s playoff game between Georgetown and Burleson Centennial. Kaden Scherer is ready to go.

FWIW, underclassmen can now play in all-star games. That was a change made last year.

Not a surprise, but Texas offered Georgetown OL Kaden Scherer tonight. Scherer, a Stanford commit, is the tentatively scheduled for an official visit next weekend for the Arkansas game.

Chad Scott recruited and offered Walker when he was still at West Virginia. Walker’s name is one we brought up back when KJ Edwards committed to Texas A&M, but that was before Texas landed Derrek Cooper.

I don’t think the networks want to go head-to-head with the NFL. Simple as that.
