  1. Cal Higgins is out of the bullpen to work the ninth.
  2. Does anybody know what we're reviewing here?
  3. This has been a pretty positive afternoon for Borba, who leads off the top of the ninth with a double to right field.
  4. Robbins breaks for home on a wild pitch after Pack strikes out, but he's tagged out to end the inning.
  5. Back-to-back walks by Robbins and Rodriguez load the bases for Becerra, who gets another run across with a sacrifice fly to center field. It's a 10-3 lead for the Longhorns.
  6. Jake Michalak, the new Ohio State pitcher, sails a ball into foul territory on what was likely to be a groundout by Tinney. Instead, it's an error that puts Tinney on second to lead off the top of the eighth.
  7. End of 7: Texas 9, Ohio State 3
  8. Borba retires Eckelman in foul territory to end the inning.
  9. It's an RBI triple for Ellis off the mesh wall in left-center field. Pack had trouble tracking it down. It's now a 9-3 lead for the Longhorns with two down in the bottom of the seventh.
  10. Nice snag by Mendoza. Two down in the Ohio State seventh.
  11. Brody Walls makes his way out of the bullpen to work the seventh for Texas.
  12. Mendoza flies out to center to end the inning.
  13. Texas is still batting with runners on first and third and two outs in the top of the seventh.
  14. After a walk by Borba loads the bases, Jonah Williams brings Becerra home by grounding into a fielder's choice. Ashton Larson's pinch-hit single to center drives in Anthony Pack, making it a 9-2 game in favor of the Longhorns.
  15. Pitching change for the Buckeyes.
  16. Becerra walks, Pack singles and now we've got a meeting at the mound.
  17. End of 6: Texas 7, Ohio State 2
  18. Mangrum flies out to right and Jonah Williams flips the ball to a fan in the stands as the inning ends.
  19. Back-to-back strikeouts for Crossland put the Longhorns two outs closer to a win in Houston.
  20. Furcht leads off the bottom of the sixth with a solo shot to left off Crossland. It's a 7-2 lead for the Longhorns.
  21. Ryan Zamora has allowed two hits and struck out two since entering the game for the Buckeyes, keeping the Longhorns off the board.
