  1. Gumbo is retired on a ground ball to third by Mendoza. The Longhorns threaten, but it’s still a 1-1 game heading to the bottom of the fifth.
  2. The Longhorns are trying to put something together in the fifth. Two on with two outs after a Borba single and a walk drawn by Gumbo.
  3. Riojas retires the Tigers in order, the last out coming with Pack making a play on the warning track to end the fourth.

  16. Bunt single by Belyeu. Well-placed bunt. A slow roller on the grass. Ruger did his best to make a play, but he couldn't scoop it up and get it to first in time to beat the runner.
