I don't think anybody knew and understood football enough to predict what has happened this year. I guess you are putting it all on the o-line and Sark guy, but you understand holding on to the ball longer than anybody in college football helps the offensive line and coordinator look bad too.

I've had to adjust my expectations immensely. I went from Natty or bust, to hopefully playoffs. I had way too much Kool aid. I don't know about Arch anymore.

You grow up next to Aggie families. Sometimes family members decide to go to the other side. Sometimes because they got into one or the others schools. Sometimes uncles, aunts, brothers. Rarely do you know a sooner family, at least when I grew up, they didn't exist. Usually Aggie families are totally Aggie. Kinda country, and they spend every hour of their lives hating and saying stupid jokes about Longhorns only they see as humorous. To not get it is crazy to me. Its a little brother that fights back and you love and hate at the same time. And it is not a horrible school by any means. And... It has taken many of our children that were turned away at Texas that wouldn't have been 20-30 years ago. I have a daughter at both. At least where I was from in South Austin, you only hated OU once a year, and you couldn't wait to hammer the Aggies, and they couldn't wait to play you either. Watching it with your extended family at Thanksgiving time was a big deal, and going was bigger. Pac 10 schools rarely came up in Texas, and nobody really knew where those were either. You never/rarely watched them unless it was a massive game.

If Texas wins and Ewers has a decent game, does he jump into the first round? Or has to be Natty?

I was off Forums for a few years after being in for 15. Just took up too much of my heart. I watch you guys on YouTube and think y'all do a great job and have good chemistry. Course our last 3 years have helped, and I really do think we are in contention for many more years. Thank you for bringing my addiction back. Feels good to be a Texas crackhead again. Grew up Oak Hill at the Y. Went to Bowie high South Austin. Victor Ike (Texas Alum) was my classmate and homeboy, still the most raw speed and best punt/kickoff returner I've ever seen. Made high school games fun. 4-8 touchdowns per game. Now I live in Friendswood till I die! Thanks. Go Horns!
