I'm not accusing anyone of boxscore scouting or just watching highlights but how many here have actually watched play a full game or two? They are the most two steps forward one step back teams that I've ever seen. And when when they take a step back it's a huge step. They don't finish in the redzone because again Green is very inaccurate in condensed spaces and when things happen fast. And boy that secondary may be one of the worst we see all year. Landon Jackson is good but he ain't beating Cam or Banks off the edge and their linebackers are lost in coverage. So I'm not going to over think this one, make Green throw from the pocket, hit and sack him a lot, and the score will be 28-7 by halftime and they can run it up the middle all they want.

Sark and his system has shown he doesn't need the highest rated recievers to make it work, all he needs is traits and everyone in the fold meets Sarks standards. I get what you're saying but for me I was so young during the SWC days I didn't really pay attention to who Texas was playing. Then being from SETX when I did learn to hate a school it was aTm because of the proximity and interaction with other kids rooting for aTm. Lol I didn't really start hating ou until I was like 13-14. So in terms of rivals for me it'll always be aTm 1 and ou 2. Arkansas don't make the cut. But to those who do see Arkansas as a rival, if that's how they feel I'm fine with it for them. Just not for me.

Our coach used to tell us on punt return that if you made the first guy miss you'd get a first down on the return which was the goal. So there I am back there thinking I'm going to make the play. They punted it, and I'm looking up thinking I still have time, I look up and across the field and say they're getting closer, why ain't the ball coming down? Finally the ball gets to me at the same time as the defender. I end the play looking out of my ear hole with my coach yelling me good job, I never returned a punt or played offense again. It's way better to deliver the contact than taking it.

It hits different when you go all season thinking you're him and get humbled.

Lol let's have some fun, I'll even go first. My junior year we went to a track meet where Ben Gay(RIP) was running. Our track coach was also the defensive line coach, and he warned us, make fun of his name all you want but you're going to have to tackle him next year. This dude was running the 100 looking like a Greek god. So my senior year comes, and I'm the starting safety, my job is to fill the alley. Well, you ever see someone run with so much power you can hear it? I read the play and normally size don't matter because my linebackers would make the back turn his shoulders. Well Ben ran over the DT and LB and lil Ole me was the last line of defense, I didn't want those problems so I kept my outside arm free and let him back inside and purposely slipped "trying" to make the tackle. I got up and limped to the sideline and said somebody else can deal with that. 😂 if you're not familiar with Ben Gay, think Derrick Henry playing against high schoolers.

I prided myself as being a head hunter, there ain't no way in hell i would get run over by a qb. As a matter of fact we played West Brook with Chip Ambres, they were up so much they put his younger brother in and I hit him so hard I knocked him out of the game and they had to bring Chip back in. Lol at the aTm db Sellars ran over.
