Vary opinions on just how much NIL those around Texas really want to give in basketball. If there are limits then don’t build an arena, don’t expect to get to the title game and don’t expect RT to perform miracles. Any coach that would replace him will have the same problem with that.

Look at the sweet sixteen and their point guards. Then look at those that came out of the portal. You absolutely have to get one.

I never expected either to return. Texas needs a point guard and small forward. So much is riding on RT next year. It eliminates the playing time question from any player in the portal.

Yeah don’t see that happening either. It’s going to be interesting seeing how the staff puts this team together. Last year they got hit with two five stars leaving at the last minute. They needed Hunter and Mitchell. That’s not the case this year. This year I think they are more prepared. Do you see any possible international player? Just watching the tournament I can’t say the way Houston recruits forwards or Tennessee is wrong. They get athletic bigs and teach them the hook shot. Then they are a threat to score.
