The problem with the wildcat is everyone's seen it. They know what. Is coming. UT would be better off lining up with 3 tight ends pull the guard a push Baxter or use a big lineman to carry the ball. If you use Baxter or Blue the defense has to hesitate because they're not sure. And how about using Niblack on an end around off tackle with a big lineman in the backfield push or block and a pulling guard lead to him or pushing him depending on the set. And after it works, fake it and throw to the lineman or on of the tight ends.

UM players won a Natty, they will hesitate now that the semester has started... it's a long time til April 15th... it's a bit poetic that the portal opens again on IRS day. Harbaugh timed his departure so Michigan players wouldn't be able to leave for other Big 10 schools in the 30 window. Texas may have a shopping list, but we will have competition for those players. So in the spring after the 30 day window has closed and the portal opens again is Oregon still a Pac12 school if someone transfers or are they a Big 10 school making them off limits? You can bet that LSU, BAMA, and Georgia are salivating over the UM roster too. I only hope that this doesn't come back to bite us by having a host of these players strengthen our upcoming opponents rather than us.

If the right DL Coach comes from a premiere college program, perhaps he'll bring 1 or 2 players with him. If Sark hires an NFL Coach that brings pluses and the minus that there's no on to follow him. But it can create excitement about what he can produce. THIS IS GETTING DRAWN OUT AND THAT BRINGS ATTENTION which can be positive or negative. All will be forgotten if the right person is brought in! And if you think we're anxious, just think about those potential Longhorns out there!
