Have you seen the schedule yet. It is brutal! In addition to the SEC they have Minny, Wisconsin, Stanford they kept Baylor and they play MaT and ou twice.

AUSTIN, Texas – The two-time reigning National Champion Texas Volleyball is the preseason favorite for the 2024 SEC volleyball season, according to the SEC Preseason Coaches Poll. The Longhorns, who will play their inaugural season in the SEC, are preseason conference favorites for the 14th consecutive year. Since 2011, Texas has lost a total of 11 conference matches for a record of 199-11 (.948), which included three perfect records of 16-0 (2013, 2017 and 2020). The Longhorns won their seventh-straight Big 12 Championship in 2023 and won the program's fifth National Championship. The Longhorns landed four players on the Preseason Volleyball All-SEC Team, the most in the league. Madisen Skinner, Emma Halter, Ella Swindle and Reagan Rutherford were the Texas honorees Skinner, a former two-time All-SEC selection at Kentucky, was the 2023 Big 12 Player of the Year and AVCA Southwest Region Player of the Year. She as named the Final Four Most Outstanding Player after leading Texas to it's second-consecutive national title. Rutherford, who is also a former two-time All-SEC selection at Kentucky, was named a third team AVCA All-American in 2023 after averaging 3.47 kills per set with a .315 hitting percentage and 1.53 digs per set. Halter was the Longhorns libero as a sophomore in 2023 and averaged 3.87 digs per set as well as 1.24 assists per set and the second-most aces on the team with 38. She capped her season by being named to the Final Four All-Tournament team. Swindle became just the third true freshman setter to lead her team to a national title and the first since 2016. But, it is a blast! That is why I kept saying temper the emotional swing to the board. If this was Herman, we would be F _ _ KED! This iteration is even better than the days of Mack ( I go back to the Fred Acker days when I was at UT). I have NEVER seen this iteration. Mack had early explosions of recruits. Sark runs very different (even this year). He seems more a slow burn (excluding the Arch run, of course). I love what he is doing now. Going after the absolute best/get what you get out of that/re-slate the board and recalculate and execute. We will be a top 5 class- no question. I am waiting for the folks that OTF folks don't even know we are chasing. Just look today Wilson and now maybe the IMG LB. This is the fun part. Hook'em!

Ugh!!! As an architect, I do not agree. The building itself has NO historical significance and should not be considered. What should be considered is a historical site designation recognizing the site as a location for being the location for the first integrated school in Austin. Again, the structure itself has little value. That is how historical designations are supposed to function, with significant structures protected (not this building) and significant sites protected (this site).
