- Arch Stats - Check my math
He better start completing 100% of his passes for a few games if he is going to get back in the Heisman race.- Mike Gundy
I think Gundy has definitely been hurt by a lack of financial support to build his roster. He was always near the top of doing more with less, but now, if some of his players develop, they are transferring for a bigger check.- Score prediction time
59-0, the offense gets on track.- Worried about Arch.
The wheel route by Wingo was a great call by Sark down at the goal line in the first half. The QB just can’t over throw the receiver in that situation.- Worried about Arch.
I agree with the up tempo. That seemed to get us out of a rut against Ohio St.- Worried about Arch.
Are you saying it’s Sark’s fault, who has worked with multiple Heisman QBs over the years, or maybe our 21-yr old QB is struggling in his 5th career start?- Score predictions
I am going Horns 52-10, giving up a 4Qtr TD.- Tuesday - The Future of College Sports
Bobby, thanks for the insight and perspective. I saw one of Cody Campbell’s ads this past weekend but didn’t know all the background behind it.- Sun Belt Billy is in deep poo
Safe travels. Billy may be roadkill by the Texas game.- Thoughts on No. 7 Texas' surprisingly sloppy 38-7 win over San Jose State
Wingo also needs a little help from his QB.- Florida? Really?
Florida’s loss to USF definitely changes the narrative for our game against them in a few weeks. If we don’t blow them out, it’s going to be a negative outlook from the national media.- This is a young team...
The team, especially the offense, is very young and inexperienced. They are going to to have to be patient as well as very focused over the next two weeks to get the most of their growing opportunities.- Thank You Quinn
He took a lot of flack, but we could use his consistency on the short throws so far this season.- Texas begins three-game stretch in which 'internal focus' is of utmost importance
So far, we got execution on every play for a five minute span, both on offense and defense.- Interesting Arch Manning Trend from the Opener (Sunday AM)
Thanks for summarizing all of these plays. They give a better perspective. I am sure these will all be reviewed in the film room and hopefully we will see improvements during the season. Remember in Arch’s two starts last year, his first one he looked a little rough and the second game he looked more polished. I know this wasn’t his first start, but it was his first start against a team of equal talent on the road in a hostile environment. I think what we see in Gainesville will be night and day difference.- Happy Hour on Friday
Are folks still there. Flight was late getting in but now headed to hotel. Planning to head there if folks still there- Tried and true football principle of utmost importance for Texas against Ohio State
Sark needs to remain patient, rely on everything he has learned in the losses from the last few years, while staying aggressive and taking the deep shots. I really enjoyed the show earlier in the week where Rod broke down the script plays from the two Bama games and the Michigan game the last three years. I am excited to see how the offense performs when the full Sark playbook can be unleashed. Hopefully this game is similar to when Sark faced OSU in 2020.- Happy Hour on Friday
If our plane is on time on Friday afternoon, two of us will attend.- Historic road winning streak at stake when Steve Sarkisian, Texas take on Ohio State
Thanks Jeff. Awesome article. I remember a lot of the games highlighted.- The biggest impact on game outcome Texas v Ohio State
Texas is significantly better this year in punting and field goal kicking as compared to last year. Could easily be the deciding factor for this Week 1 game.- Justice Finkley is making an impact at Kansas
He was one of my favorite players when he was at Texas with his Mom and Family being great advocates for the program and the University.- For Those Going to the Ohio State Game…..
Thanks!!- For Those Going to the Ohio State Game…..
Do you know which section has been designated as the Texas section? Also, if you have purchased tickets, which section are you sitting in? I will be buying tickets in the next week or so and would prefer to be sitting close to other Longhorns, instead of in the middle of a sea of Buckeyes. Thanks! - Mateer thumb injury?
