I’m not too quick to judge what Baxter has left in the tank. Yes there are stories like Jonathan Gray out there, but some of you guys would have given up on Jordan Shipley and Bo Scaife, not to mention J Whitt. Plus Baxter is by all accounts a great influence in the locker room. With the expanded roster I’m not relying on him to be a rb1 next year but he deserves some time to rehab more if wants to stay.

Get ready to see tech in the playoffs every year. Look at this cupcake schedule next year

I guess it depends on the reason he is leaving. Passed over for pt and needs a fresh start? In that case can he wait to develop or does he want to be on the field soon? Are we willing to pay him to develop? I would expect this type of portal player to go to a byu or Utah or Arizona but to be fair I know nothing about his time at usc so far. Is he Akana 2.0?

6’4” 205? I know we wanted him last year but this doesn’t look like an ideal experienced portal lb pickup for us.

Love MM but he doesn’t posses elite speed and isn’t really a ball hawk. I see him as a round 2-3 pick eventually.

I like Lott as much as the next guy but we have a fast twitchy freshman in Bishop. I see no reason to break the bank for Lott. We don’t have that grab the ball out of the air with acrobatic moves guy that would be a cam Coleman or Jeremiah smith. Henry would have been that guy. That’s the guy we wanted wingo to be. I’d rather have the open roster spot and million dollar nil money which could be allocated somewhere no matter what is currently allocated to each position group.
