Ohio St. names Sayin as starter
Do you not think Texas’ DBs are going to be a problem?

1. We’ll have to agree to disagree. 2. Texas losing on the road in Columbus wouldn’t constitute anybody being “mocked”- you’re the favorite in the game. 3. Beating an Oklahoma team that has struggled consistently under Venables isn’t really a benchmark for B1G/SEC prowess.

Again. You know as well as I that talking about one year in college football doesn’t mean much of anything for the next year. *pre-season rankings are so bogus in college football. I still do not see how you think the middle of the B1G is thicker than the middle of the SEC. By all accounts, this is the deepest the SEC has been in a long time. I’d argue the B1G is the top-heaviest league there is in the major divisions.

2025 Alabama is better than the last few years and 2023 Michigan cheated and 2024 Michigan was a mess. So I don’t think it’s “abandoning reason” to say that I think Alabama would beat them this year.

We’re talking about 2025, right? Michigan & Alabama’s team 2 years ago has little resemblance to the team now.

No. I don’t believe Michigan would beat Alabama (anything can happen, but we’re talking on average expectations).

Who do you consider “the middle”? Outside of OSU/PSU/Oregon, who do you think is really good?

I guess we’ll see something when Michigan plays Oklahoma. I’m not sure anybody but OSU, PSU, and Oregon are beating LSU/Ole Miss/Florida/South Carolina/etc.

I wonder if Arch’s touches last year were also with training wheels. Sark was never going to leave him in; the goal was to not lose until Quinn got taped up and shoved back out there. Texas might lose. But I’d imagine Arch is going to have a more wide open playbook than anybody outside of team/staff have seen.

Maybe I’m seeing through burnt orange glasses…but I see Arch as an immediate upgrade at QB. Period.

1970: Ohio State or Texas
Texas just needs to get the 2025 Natty and go from there…

Good eats in Katy....?
There’s a sushi conveyor belt place I like- Sushi Sakura I think. And yes, Lupe is a “chain”, but Lupe is always good (although I don’t love the original one deeper into Houston).

Is winning the conference title really worth it in the long run?
I get the argument, but I can’t get on board with the idea to not shoot for an SEC Championship every year.

SEC Shorts
Amazing one. And it’s too on point for the good of college football if you ask me, which nobody did, but…meh

If one team scores more points, they win. And God loves us all. Those are the things we know. Other than that…each side is going to imagine the scenario that works for their team and hope the “other guy” makes the mistake.

USA Today: Texas is just a placeholder No. 1 seed in the preseason AP rankings
1. Personally don’t believe it’s something God is pleased with. 2. It’s not wise and you’ll inevitably lose money.

Every AP voter’s ballot for preseason poll
Bama at 3???
