  1. Attended Texas QB camp where Steve Sarkisian offered him a scholarship. Lacey committed two weeks later.
  2. As of Saturday morning, yes. I do not have newer info, however.
  3. Glad you like it. We'll try to keep improving it day by day.
  4. A YouTube or Google account, either one, will work.
  5. Love this list, CJ, and the info. Thanks for putting it together for everyone.
  6. Will check. They’ve added some minor assistant roles.
  7. Jeff, yes, we wrote about this yesterday and posted a video companion to it. Here's a quick link to the news feed from OnTexasFootball.com. https://ontexasfootball.com/news/ Lance also joined us on last night's Livestream to discuss his commitment to Texas.
  8. Very underrated thought here IMO. A lot of people got to experience the same thing with their kids for the first time; that's how things get passed down through the generations and part of what is special about Texas football.
  9. Not really a news piece so I'm placing this on the board... Rod Wright has his end of year meeting with Texans head coach Demeco Ryans today. We'll see what the timeline looks like following that meeting. Again, not sure if Wright is the guy but it's customary for pro coaches to have these end of season meetings with assistants.
  10. Love this sort of discussion. The nuances of his game are really what Quinn needs to work on. Not getting self-sacked is a big one IMO, and perhaps toughness/playing through contact is part of that.
  11. Guys, this community is what we make of it. All of us. Some folks like to post and talk among the group. Some like to ask questions of the mods or others. Some folks just like to lurk and read. No matter your personal preference, all are welcome and encouraged to participate as they like.
  12. From a source in Tucson, I am told that Texas is the "clear favorite" to land Tiaoalii Savea , the 6-foot-4, 305-pound defensive tackle transfer from Arizona. Savea visited Texas over the weekend and has a very strong bond with Texas linebackers coach Johnny Nansen, who joined the Longhorn staff from Arizona this off-season. Savea is expected to be a mid-term enrollee. All mid-term enrollees at Texas must enroll by Jan. 30 at the very latest. Texas has already added seven players from the NCAA's transfer portal. Besides Savea, Texas also continues to recruit Washington cornerback Jabbar Muhammad. Muhammad visited Texas with his parents on Wednesday and Thursday and visited Alabama over the weekend. He is expected to return to Washington to collect his belongings this week and visit Oregon while in the Pacific Northwest.

  14. Savea is a spring enrollee. I’m talking about the next guy, whoever that may be, is likely not a spring enrollee.
  15. They wouldn’t be recruiting him through the portal unless they thought he could have an impact. He originally signed with UCLA then transferred to Arizona. He was in their DT rotation this year. He goes 6-4, 305 and had 22 tackles and six TFL this season.
