This is something we’ve been wanting to do for a long time and finally gotten things in place.

We’re joining together with the guys at 3rd & Longhorn to do a three-city tour of Texas prior to the season opener.

The event is free. We’ll both be taping or recording a live show at the event. There will also be a meet-and-greet section where folks can take pictures with DJ, Fozzy, Rod, and other special guests, and get autographs, etc.

Please put it on your calendar if you can make it out. Should be fun!

Also: the Dallas event is in conjunction with the annual Texas Exes get together, so that should be a lot of fun.

Hey @Bobby Burton I heard you mention Happiest Hour in your chat with Nick. My OU group has been going there the past theee years after the game and it’s been a lot of fun. The place is huge the food is great and it has a lot of TVs for post OU game watching. If you and the OTF ever needed a place to post up after OU I highly recommend that place as a post show location. Lots of horns there. We bumped into Wisners entire family there last year after his big game. Give it a look when you’re up there for the Third and Longhorn thing and see what you think? Hook’em.  

Had an absolute blast at the first stop on the tour yesterday in Austin. Excited for everyone in Houston and Dallas over the next few days.

You never know what might happen on this tour, so always be prepared, always stay sharp.

I thought about showing up for Houston but their website says 21 and up. My 15 year old daughter wanted to go. Probably best if I don't bring her around a bunch of degenerates anyway.

I met Fozzy's mom in 2009 at the BigXII title game tailgate, was sending Fozzy's brother game DVDs of the season.

Their mom is hilarious.

We had a couple of younger folks in the audience last night. They relaxed the rules somewhat because we kind of took over the whole place.

No big deal, it would have been a pain to get there with traffic and my kid didn't get out of XC until 4. We will catch you at a tailgate.
