This morning the Longhorns offered Port Charlotte, Fla. defensive tackle Myron Charles. The 6-foot-5, 260-pound four-star prospect offered by Texas assistant coach Jeff Banks.   Charles is currently ranked the No. 16 defensive lineman and No. 130 prospect overall in the On3 Industry Rankings.  

The Texas Longhorns extended an offer in the 2025 cycle Sunday afternoon.  Hightower (Texas) High's Kade Phillips was offered by the Longhorns Sunday.  Phillips, 6-1.5 and 178 pounds, attended Texas Junior day January 20. The Texas staff has extended an offer to 2025 Cedar Hill offensive lineman Devin Coleman.    The 6-foot-5 and 315-pound offensive lineman has four offers so far in his recruitment; Texas Tech, SMU, Duke and Colorado. Devin is the twin brother of 2025 OL Jordan Coleman who the Longhorns offered back in November of 2023.

Steve Sarkisian has extended an offer to the No. 1 QB in the country for the class of 2026. Jared Curtis, a 6-foot-4 quarterback out of Nashville, TN, has reported an offer following a phone call with the Texas head coach. There is currently a prediction in for Curtis to end up at Georgia, but Texas is now officially in the running.    

Texas offensive lineman DJ Campbell was selected by the Miami Dolphins with the No. 200 overall pick in the sixth round of the 2026 NFL Draft. Campbell is the third Longhorn picked by the Dolphins in this year's draft, joining linebacker Trey Moore (fourth round, No. 130 overall) and safety Michael Taaffe (fifth round, No. 158 overall). Texas junior quarterback Quinn Ewers has been named to the preseason watch list for the Davey O'Brien Award for the second-consecutive season, the Davey O'Brien Foundation announced Thursday.
