Former Washington cornerback Jabbar Muhammad, a second-team All-Pac 12 selection in 2023, and his family made an official visit to Texas on Wednesday and Thursday. Muhammad, who recorded three interceptions for the national runner-ups this season, is slated to visit Alabama today and Oregon next week. If Muhammad plans on enrolling at Texas, he must make a decision no later than Jan. 30, which is the last day to enroll in classes at Texas for the spring term. Texas is said to have

Three full classes are in the books now for Steve Sarkisian as the head coach of the Texas Longhorns. A top six finish continues the trend of elite recruiting here for the Longhorns as well, in which Texas went out of state a bit more this season to get the core of their class. This is a bit of a new feature for most of the audience here, however I have done this for the past four seasons with the predictions being anywhere from spot on to couldn’t be further off. I will post the results of

After Tuesday’s 68-66 win over North Carolina State in the First Four in Dayton, Texas made the quick trip to Portland, Ore., ahead of its NCAA Tournament first round game against BYU at Moda Center on Thursday (6:25 p.m., TBS). Coach Sean Miller and three of the Longhorns’ top players — Dailyn Swain, Tramon Mark and Jordan Pope — will be a part of the pregame press conference before tangling with the Cougars. Steve Sarkisian and the Texas Longhorns have granted their newest scholarship offer at today's Junior Day. The honor goes to Ryan Fodje, a 6-foot-5, 275-pound offensive lineman from Bridgeland HS in the Houston area. Fodje also holds scholarship offers from Oklahoma, Texas A&M and others. He is one of only a handful of in-state offensive linemen to be offered by Sarkisian and offensive line coach Kyle Flood for the class of 2025. Fodje is on the left in the tweet below.

Strong leadership helped guide Texas into the College Football Playoff semifinals the last two seasons. Along with the talent Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorns have lost, quality leaders from the 2023 and 2024 rosters have departed the Forty Acres. A new leadership nucleus is forming during spring practice. Based on the early returns and what Sarkisian, Arch Manning and Quintrevion Wisner have said in their recent post-practice press scrums, the current Texas squad oozes intensity and swagg

The Texas staff has offered 2025 Warner Robbins (GA) defensive end Isaiah Gibson. The 6-foot-4 edge prospect is the latest in the cycle to report an offer from the Texas Longhorn staff. Interestingly here, the offer was extended by Texas RB coach Tashard Choice who obviously has deep ties to the Georgia area. Gibson was recently ranked as a top 25 national prospect per On3. It is not an easy task to pull an elite prospect out of the Peach State, but the Longhorns are officially in

Savea, who is 6-foot-4, 305 pounds, entered the transfer portal officially yesterday. From Las Vegas' Desert Pines High School, Savea originally signed with UCLA out of high school before transferring to Arizona. He logged 22 tackles and six tackles for loss in 2023 for an Arizona defense coordinated by current Texas linebackers
