Among the big visit from 2025 Lewisville five-star OL Michael Fasusi, Texas also played host to an important trench member from the state of Texas Tuesday morning. 2026 Bastrop DL Tiki Hola was on campus with the Longhorns today. Hola has been a familiar name as of late. The Bastrop three-tech earned an offer from the Texas staff back in June of 2023 and visited campus for the January 20 Junior Day this winter. Texas stopped by in the winter twice to check out the Bears and Hola n

When the curtain falls on the first round of the 2026 NBA Draft, Dailyn Swain should have a new place to call home. It’s unclear how long Swain will wait to hear his name called once the Washington Wizards are on the clock for the No. 1 overall and the draft begins on Tuesday (7 p.m., ABC/ESPN). Nevertheless, ESPN analyst Jay Bilas believes the team that picks the Texas standout will be getting a prospect who will check a lot of boxes for a franchise looking for a piece to fit into its cham

I stopped by Pflugerville Weiss earlier this morning to catch up with what I believe will be a top target for Texas in the 2026 cycle – Jerald 'JJ' Mays. This was my first time seeing Mays in person and I was thoroughly impressed. He stands right now around 275 pounds, but has plenty of room to go in his 6-foot-4 frame and has already begun gaining weight since the offseason. He mentioned this morning he hopes to get up to 290 pounds by the beginning of next season. By all accounts, Ma

OnTexasFootball has learned 2026 Mission Hills (San Marcos, CA) quarterback Troy Huhn will be returning to Austin April 6 for an unofficial visit. Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorn staff have extended three offers in the 2026 class, though there is the most familiarity with Huhn who will be making his third appearance to campus since his recruitment began. Huhn received his Texas offer February 15 and will return for the Longhorns' busy visit weekend at the beginning of April. Milw

While I was hoping to get an idea of the current landscape of 2026 DL Tiki Hola's recruitment while on the road at Bastrop High this morning, I wanted to get a first look at what could end up being a very special quarterback coming through the ranks in central Texas. 2027 QB Weston Nielsen has seen his recruitment really pop over the last few weeks. After starting the final eight games of the regular season, the cat is out of the bag with the CenTex gunslinger. Nielsen received his off

Texas will be hosting 2025 Denton Guyer DL Xavier Ukponu for an unofficial visit on the big weekend of April 6. Ukponu has been a familiar face around the 40 Acres after visiting once again back in January for the Junior Day. Since then, Ukponu's recruitment has really skyrocketed. Now holding 32 offers, there was a revolving door of coaches in the hallways of Denton Guyer in late January to meet with the 6-foot-3 defensive lineman. The spring months will be rather busy for Ukponu

Season and individual tickets to Texas football home games are now completely sold out. That’s amazing. Here’s the first part of the official university release: “Excitement surrounding the 2026 Texas Football season continues to build in anticipation of the Longhorns’ home opener on September 5. Season tickets and individual game tickets for all home games at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium are officially sold out through Texas Athletics. The sellout continues the incredib

Protecting the football is something Arch Manning did at an elite level in 2025. While logging 840 snaps (per Pro Football Focus) and serving as arguably the identity of the Texas offense, Manning accounted for just seven turnovers, all of which were interceptions. With that said, five of those interceptions came in the team’s first five games (one each against Ohio State, San Jose State and UTEP and two against Florida). In the team’s four wins over opponents that ended the season ran

A dozen Texas targets that will be national and rivalry battles The Texas Longhorns will compete in more national recruiting and regional rivalry battles in the 2025 cycle than ever before. Some of that is Texas continuing to expand the national recruiting footprint, and some of it is the top tier national talent in state at several positions. OnTexasFootball looks at a dozen recruiting battles in the 2025 cycle that will cover both scenarios. Michael Fasusi, OT, Lewisville (Tex
