Florida DL to visit Texas for the spring game  The Texas spring game visitor list now includes another defensive lineman from the Southeast Region. Port Orange (Fla.) Spruce Creek athletic 2025 defensive lineman Derry Norris tells OnTexasFootball that he will be making an unofficial visit to Texas for the spring game this weekend.  Norris, 6-3 and 265 pounds, was offered by the Longhorns defensive line coach Kenny Baker March 5. Fort Worth (Texas) North Crowley 4-star linebacker Jonathan Cunningham is scheduled to make an official visit to Texas June 14-16 per a source close to the recruitment.  Cunningham, 6-2.5 and 195, made an unofficial visit to Texas April 11. He was offered by the Longhorns February 1 after schools visits by Johnny Nansen and Steve Sarkisian. 

David Pierce and his squad will return to Austin Sunday evening with a series victory after a come from behind victory over Houston this afternoon. Scottie Scheffler entered the final day of the Masters with a one-stroke lead. About four hours after he teed off this afternoon, he finished the tournament with a four-stroke victory, at 11-under par. For the Dallas native and former Longhorn, it's his second major championship (he also won the 2022 Masters). In all, six different Longhorns have won one of the four major golf tournaments, Scheffler, Jordan Spieth, Mark Brooks, Tom Kite, Ben Crenshaw and Justin Leonard.

Texas Spring Game Visitor List The Texas Longhorns spring game April 20 at 1 p.m. central on Longhorn Network is scheduled to have more than 15 combined 4-star and 5-star prospects in attendance.  OnTexasFootball provides an early look at many of the prospects to know. We have a special guest for the Saturday Morning Conversation. It's Texas' latest pledge, Dallas Skyline linebacker Elijah Barnes.  

Elijah "Bo" Barnes, linebacker from Dallas Skyline, has pledged to the Longhorns. Barnes is considered one of the nation's top linebacker prospects and was a priority prospect for linebacker coach Johnny Nansen and head coach Steve Sarkisian.  

The Texas Longhorns will host more than 20 visitors for a second weekend in a row. Among the big visit from 2025 Lewisville five-star OL Michael Fasusi, Texas also played host to an important trench member from the state of Texas Tuesday morning. 2026 Bastrop DL Tiki Hola was on campus with the Longhorns today. Hola has been a familiar name as of late. The Bastrop three-tech earned an offer from the Texas staff back in June of 2023 and visited campus for the January 20 Junior Day this winter.
