Five-star OT Michael Fasusi schedules Texas visit The Texas Longhorns are set to host the top offensive lineman on the board in April. Lewisville High's Michael Fasusi told OnTexasFootball that he will make a visit to Texas April 9th. Fasusi, 6-5 and 300 pounds, will make the visit with his parents. While a number of top offensive targets will be on campus April 6-7, Fasusi and family are going to come down mid-week and have the full attention of the entire Texas offensive staff.

Five-star WR Jaime Ffrench has locked in an unofficial visit to Texas. The former Alabama commit will be on campus April 6th, adding to what is already an impressive list of prospects on the offensive side of the ball for that weekend. Ffrench has been fond of Sarkisian's offense in the past and mentioned previously to me the production from the Texas WRs has caught his attention plenty of times in the past.

Five-star WR locks in Texas official visit Sachse (Texas) High wide receiver Kaliq Lockett will make an unofficial visit to Texas April 6, but that will not be his last trip to the Forty Acres. Lockett, 6-2 and 175 pounds, told OnTexasFootball Wednesday morning that he has locked in an official visit to Texas. That visit will be June 21-23. The DFW area wide receiver with very high-end body control and 10.25 inch hands was offered by the Longhorns December 7. Following the offer

What Bruce Feldman said in one social media post encapsulated the growing angst toward the College Football Playoff Selection Committee. Upon the release of the committee’s penultimate rankings on Tuesday, the path to a third consecutive trip to the CFP for No. 13 Texas is, for all intents and purposes, a dead end. To get into the 12-team field, the Longhorns need Texas Tech to win the Big 12, Georgia to notch a landslide revenge victory over Alabama in the SEC title game and then hope the

Florida DL to visit Texas for the spring game The Texas spring game visitor list now includes another defensive lineman from the Southeast Region. Port Orange (Fla.) Spruce Creek athletic 2025 defensive lineman Derry Norris tells OnTexasFootball that he will be making an unofficial visit to Texas for the spring game this weekend. Norris, 6-3 and 265 pounds, was offered by the Longhorns defensive line coach Kenny Baker March 5. Since that time, Baker and Norris have been staying

— I think Texas needs to add another interior defensive lineman in the spring transfer portal window, even after landing Ohio State’s Hero Kanu on Wednesday. Kenny Baker and Pete Kwiatkowski need as many options as possible to adequately replace more than 1,900 snaps with the departures of Vernon Broughton, Alfred Collins, Jermayne Lole and Bill Norton. Of equal importance, for me, is giving playing time to the program’s three true freshmen (Myron Charles, Josiah Sharma and Justus Terry) by

When the dust settles on Saturday’s SEC action, including a pair of top-25 showdowns — No. 13 Ole Miss hosts No. 4 LSU in Oxford and No. 5 Georgia welcomes No. 17 Alabama to Athens — everyone will get a better feel for the conference pecking order entering October. The good news for Texas, even with an open date on the schedule, is that more football must be played before clear-cut frontrunners for SEC Championship Game berths emerge. The Longhorns, who’ve spent 36 consecutive weeks ra

Four Longhorns who must continue making strides with Jonah Williams out for the rest of baseball season
If there’s a silver lining to No. 2 Texas losing Jonah Williams to season-ending shoulder surgery, it’s that the Longhorns have been without him since he was injured while diving for a ball late in a 14-2, run-rule win over USC Upstate on March 6. Williams, who hit .304 in an eight-game, truncated sophomore season, was expected to be a big piece of the puzzle in 2026. After Texas (18-1, 2-1 SEC) routed Ole Miss on Sunday, 8-2, to win the team’s first SEC series of the season, Jim Schlossnag- 9 comments
