Five-Star Out Of State WR Locks in Visit

Five-star WR Jaime Ffrench has locked in an unofficial visit to Texas.

The former Alabama commit will be on campus April 6th, adding to what is already an impressive list of prospects on the offensive side of the ball for that weekend.

Ffrench has been fond of Sarkisian's offense in the past and mentioned previously to me the production from the Texas WRs has caught his attention plenty of times in the past.

CJ…..how would you rate (from 1 to 6)….Cunningham, Ffrench, Moore, Marsh, Lockett, and Harris?? You can just place them on 2 or 3 tiers if you’d rather!!

I am a huge DK Moore fan. He probably leads the way for me. Followed by Ffrench, then Cunningham. Lockett, Marsh and Harris are all in a similar tier, but I think Lockett might have the brightest future of that bunch. All are very, very talented.

I would put Kelshaun at 3 with Marsh. Probably 3a

Kelshaun is really impressive to me. He'd be in that tier right behind Ffrench and DK Moore.

I have the WRs in 3 different buckets: Priority & Achievable, Becomes priority IF achievable, and Being Evaluated. There are obviously more guys than what I listed below being evaluated but these all seem to be the ones that we're courting and are texting back in each category. I don't think we'll get Cunningham on campus but added him anyway.

P&A PIA EVAL
DK Moore Jamie Ffrench Kaliq Lockett
KJ Cunningham Marcus Harris
    Em. Choice
    Jacorey Watson

While all of these guys have good high school tape, which ones show up ready to work with a chip?  Who's the willing blocker? Who's the team first not me first guys?

I think Texas is prioritizing Harris and Lockett. I would add Quincy Porter and Andrew Marsh to one of the priorities columns.

Interesting way of thinking about Texas recruits and offers

Texas isn't really recruiting Quincy Porter. Think Texas relayed that message to Porter already.

Seems most real.  Getting Cunningham and RB Dear to visit would be great. If Brooks goes in top 3 RB in the draft, that might get his attention given last year's draft.
