Did Bobby and Gerry start this rumor? Threads are bubbling with activity. Intrigue is so good for business when things have grown stagnant. I would rather know how our high school recruits are doing than to speculate coaching replacement possibilities based on a click bait rumor with no substantial source.

  I jest in part but this social media gossip mill is really just an opportunity for self serving vultures looking to break a story that isn’t a story without a credible source owning the comment(s). Basic high school 101 jounalism. Who, what, when, where, why and how… right? Twitter is for twits.

Premature is what I was getting at, smarty.  Very hyper reaction with not much confirmation.  Giving this undo credit and traction could hurt Texas football.  Recruiting, distraction, etc.  An “ace recruiter” would know that.

What newsworthy item do we not discuss prematurely? The Heisman trophy winner for next year will be talked about and predicted within the Heisman show presentation this year, the favorite to win the Natty this year was discussed minutes after osu held up the trophy, etc...
