The NIL Go crap is so dumb. They need to just allow long term contracts that include transfer fees, and then let players get paid whatever they get paid.

 It really feels like the NCAA has been holding onto this old-school idea of college sports being all about amateur vibes, even as courts and the real world keep shoving them toward change. Here's the crazy part about direct activation...you can still game the system. All this does is require specific "deliverables" to be put in writing. Who is going to check whether the deliverables actually happened?

A smart collective/consumer drafts in simple "we come to you" type deliverables that require minimal effort and essentially keep these contracts pay for play deals. Tell the NCAA to sue me if they don't like it.
