Mike Gundy

If Gundy gets canned, would it be a good idea to bring him in as an Offensive Analyst next year? If anything, he can help those transitioning to 40-hood.

I think Gundy has definitely been hurt by a lack of financial support to build his roster.  He was always near the top of doing more with less, but now, if some of his players develop, they are transferring for a bigger check.

OKST is one of the schools that got hurt the most by NIL. He always did so much with less

I doubt Gundy would have any interest in analyst work. He doesn’t need money and he probably doesn’t want to travel to Austin from his home unless he moves completely.

He can go take a mullet medical year or three and throw his name back into the ring at a good situation if he really wants to do football into his 60’s.

Gundy is a top evaluator of talent, usually evaluates prospects and offers them before they are offered by bigger programs.  Never hurts to have more top evaluators on a coaching staff that can improve anything.

Gundy was hurt by Gundy. He REFUSED the portal and NIL just like Dabo.

And no, Gundy shouldn’t be anywhere near this program. His time is over and the game has passed him by.
