Thanks for posting this and cutting it up (if that was you). I see some poor throws here, but overall if we had this guy throwing the ball this year, we beat Ohio State and we blow SJSU and UTEP out by 60 each. This year, he can't even make some of those simple throws he does easy here. Also, unless I'm blind I didn't see any side arm throws.

Way different offensive personnel on the field with seniors and draft picks all over the field so trying to say “but last year” doesn’t make sense. Go back and show us him against Georgia after Quinn was pulled and tell me if you’re still surprised about how he’s playing this year.

Most of his mistakes have nothing to do with personnel. His mechanics look noticeably different and he’s completely missing wide open receivers vs G5 opponents. Matthew Golden and Isaiah Bond aren’t catching a lot of the throws he’s attempted so far.

I just made the video to compare his play vs utep. But youre saying you predicted arch would play this bad? Somehow i dont believe that

Totally agree. Like most people i think he lost his mental after osu. There are a couple sidearm throws against ulm on short throws, but they're still in the right spot

He could have this personnel and with the mistakes he's made this year, that would not make a difference.

I'm watching some of his throws against UTEP and comparing them to these in the video, that are the exact same. It's like night and day. Here makes the throws, against UTEP he misses them (and against OSU and SJSU). It truly is baffling.

This argument made sense against Ohio State but does not explain this game against UTEP whatsoever

that run vs. miss st was amazing.  i though for sure that would be called a TD after review.  he's gotta get back to that arch manning somehow.

we'll see if sark really is a qb whisperer.

Thanks for posting this. In addition to what others have posted some things that jump out at me:

  • Accuracy is way better, especially on the deep balls
  • More decisive, ball comes out quicker
  • Not every throw is a missile. Doesn't have Quinn's touch, but he took some heat off the shorter throws
  • There were misses, but they were small misses like turning screeners around instead of hitting them in stride. No skipping balls to receivers

UTEP Arch looks like the freshman, this Arch looks like the second year player. Really odd.

Another random thing - my god the speed on that receiving group. Bond preinjury, Golden, Wingo, and even Bolden, the difference in quickness compared to this year's group is pretty shocking.
