Texas will host Stanford in its home opener. The match will be in the the Moody Center at 12 noon and will be televised on ESPN. This the 1st  time the Moody Center has hosted a VB match and is sold out.

If they win it all this season in volleyball, Jerritt Elliott will have officially brought a dynasty to Austin.  Would be 3 natties in 4 seasons.  This team looks special.

I won't lie to you, there isn't much I know about volleyball other than best out of 5 wins. But I do know what it looks and sounds like when the ladies are taking hard swings. 

Stanford showing some fight, but not surprised.  They are fantastic in the non-big 3 sports.

Do you ever wonder how good women's basketball would be if the volleyball athletes played basketball instead? They just appear so much more coordinated and athletic with more hops than the basketball players. There is also so many 6 foot plus volleyball players

I have a neice that stands 6'2" as a sophomore. On the volleyball court she's uber athletic, on the basketball court she's clumsy. 🤫 don't tell her I said as much.
