As I cross the state line into the Sunshine State … the top spot in the coaching hot seat category has been secured after Saturday

Florida’s next four games…

at LSU

at Miami

Texas

at Texas A&M

And still on the schedule:

Georgia

at Ole Miss

Tennessee

FSU

I missed that … what’s happened

Just rehashing his water bottle struggles from last season.

He’s staring 4-8 right in the face.  Kentucky (despite being on the road) and Mississippi State are very winnable.  They usually play Tennessee well, so I would say them, but their win streak over the Vols in the Swamp is in jeopardy.  I do think they pull an upset somewhere to get to that 4th win.  Either way, I think Napier is cooked in Gainesville.

This next 4 weeks is going to be brutal for Napier and Florida. With all that talent, they still couldn't beat USF at home. Not only that, you're facing some really good teams. I'm not sure he survives the year.

I didn’t believe or fall for the “it’s tough to play in the swamp” or UF hype stuff that bobby and you were telling us. No disrespect, But sun belt billy is a dead man walking running that program. They got the DJ lagway bump of excitement, gave him an extension and then we blew them out a couple days later.

A wounded dog is a dangerous game in that environment…

After the game, the crowd at Florida were chanting, "Fire Billy!"

Napier already lost the fans, it's only a matter of time before he loses the locker room. My prediction, he won't be the head coach when we play them in Gainesville.

Safe travels.  Billy may be roadkill by the Texas game.

IF Florida loses next two on road … the Texas game in Gainesville will be built up as the season saving/must win to turn the season around

Great….just what we need.

*sarcasm*

I saw on X that USF were already contacting Florida recruits. Florida is going to get ransacked if they get blown out by LSU and Miami, but Gerry would know more about that than me.

Idk why, but something tells me a wounded Gator is going to find a way to split those games.  I don't trust Kelly or Cristobal to defend their home field.  Hope to be wrong obviously because UF has some players on their roster and in their recruiting class that Texas would be glad to have in their program.

I’d rather for our SoS and not getting a desperate Florida that they not lose their next two.

I would rather get a demoralized Florida to keep tuning up against the Fighting Mateers.

Here’s a list of what we need to do to stomp OU:

1) Tackle Mateer.

That’s the end of the list.

That's why I called them the Fighting Mateers.
