Happy Hour on Friday

Featured Replies

Our current plan is to meet at Gresso's in German Village in Columbus on Friday afternoon.

If you hope to join us from 4ish-7ish on Friday, please RSVP here with a number or contact me directly at ontexasfootball@gmail.com.

I want to make sure they can accommodate everyone.

Do not contact the bar directly. We don't want them inundated with calls.

Thanks, Bobby

We’ve had a really great RSVP total so they’re adding the outdoor patio as well as the upstairs bar area. I’ll be doing the show from there on Friday afternoon. The owner said he opens at 3p

  • Columbus local and Buckeye fan here.  You may want to look at Land Grant if you are bringing a larger crowd.  Good luck Saturday hoping for a clean game and no injuries to either team.  http

You bet.  Guessing you are not setting up anything and just looking to have some pregame beers.  I would recommend the Varsity club on Lane Ave across from the stadium food & Beverages.  Get there early it gets crowded, but they have indoor/outdoor space.  Also The stadium parking lot and or St johns Arena across the street from the stadium are good spots.  Buckeye fans are not all a-holes.  Walk up to one of the tailgates and ask if you can donate for some cocktails throw a $10 or $20 in the jar depending on how many of you there are and enjoy...  I tailgated at a buddies set up outside the stadium with plenty of Long Horn fans prior to the OSU vs. Texas 05 game.  That was a night game so the fans were pretty juiced remember well the Young to Sweed  with 2 min left was the end for us.

Thanks for your input.
I’m in the “East Stadium Lot”. Considered safe?
