Texas (USA) vs. Canada

Featured Replies

So far so good. 1st quarter is over and we are up 24-16. Kyla Oldacre has a slight ankle sprain, so she's out. The new additions to the team look really good. We are playing stout defense. Jordan Lee appears to be the consistent starter who remains on the court at all times. It's a physical game. Hook'em.

It's early but I don't know what the Olympic team will look come four years from now. I have France winning it in both women and men. France can roll out a lineup of all 7 footers with Wemby at the point. The women team is crazy too with Gabby Williams, Malonga who is basically a female Wemby, and a couple other names I can't spell.

43-35 halftime. I am super impressed with Sydberry and Aaliyah Crump. Sydberry is all hustle, rebounds, loose balls, etc. Crump is a scorer. Her and Maddie both are going to score a lot. Coach plays everyone. Lots of subs in and out. Our defense is solid. The players from Canada are all on Div. 1 teams from great basketball schools. So they aren't a cakewalk.

If this offense carries over into the season, they could go all the way.  This season will be the 40 year anniversary of Texas WBB winning their first and only natty.

How is Olivia Miles looking. That young woman is a walking triple double, her handle and passing can be jaw dropping at times.

She's not playing.
