Texas definitely seemed to do everything they could to land him but ofc they don’t all go in your favor. Based off the way he’s being talked about on OSU sites he will most likely contribute a ton this year. He seems like a future star and I can’t wait to watch his career play out. 

Is he a starter yet? I know he will be but will he play vs us?

Duke Pettijohn got his kid a better deal than Texas was willing to offer.  Enjoy Columbus!

He was my fav recruit… hurts fs. But Atkinson fills the void, and Bo Barnes is no joke

Sucks but at least we reeled in Bo Barnes, some kids just like other schools and their pitches or NIL more.

I appreciate the loyalty but that's a silly thing to say.  Aggy does a great job of helping other Aggy getting jobs.  That is an apparent truth in our state.

Yes I know that and the ring represents the alumni network.

I know there's a football rivalry but Aggy is a great school and they do a great job of getting their kids jobs.

If a kid is not going to play football at Texas or Stanford I can't imagine why they would go out of state when Aggy represents so many good opportunities.

That is the truth, whether some of you like it or not.

I think you would take a scholarship at ND, Vandy, Duke, Michigan, Wake Forest, or UNC as well over one from Slurp, unless you want to be an engineer.

If someone’s ring got flushed down the toilet you’re telling me the alumni network wouldn’t treat that person as an alumni anymore?  That doesn’t seem right.

Not in the NIL era…

Pettijohn was a huge miss, but I think with Atinkinson in the '26 class, they more than made up for that. Both will be great players in college and likely in the NFL.

“Great” school is very debatable. They do a good enough job of helping other Aggies get jobs though.
Not sure what football has to do with it, but there are many schools I would recommend I kid go to for football before A&M.
