Who cares. The owner is having a stand off with the best defensive player the Cowboys have had since the first ballot Demarcus Ware and made it to where he doesn't want to play for the team anymore. I've had it with Jerry. No shade on Jaydon though. I just wish he was on another team. I'm a very disgruntled Cowboys fan. Sorry to derail the thread.

On the surface that seems like a pretty terrible comp.

Think we’re gonna miss that 4.2 speed out of the backfield in the passing game.

Yep, he is not like Sproles at all.

Sproles is in my mind the most underrated back ever.  He was a poor man's Barry Sanders.

If Blue finally is in a good place mentally he can have a real impact for the Cowboys.  His speed is rare.

Not me. 

I don’t  know about Sproles but Blue is/was a dude.

We will miss him BUT I think Clark is going to surprise this year to some. He has some Bijan to him and I’ve thought that the moment I saw his film in HS. He will be tough to corral in space. He doesn’t have Blue’s acceleration but I think he has the ability to make people miss and better contact balance.

The issue with comparing to Blue with anyone like Sproles ... Darren Sproles was an unbelievably reliable player. In HS, college and the NFL.

Jaydon Blue has never been a reliable player. Not in high school, and not at Texas. 

Blue has always been very talented. But he has a very big jump in reliability in front of him to have a successful and long career in the NFL. Just a few weeks ago he was being called lazy within the organization. He's got to bring consistency and reliability IMO.
