He is expected to impact the team. Not saying starter or 12 and 5 per game, but he's going to help Texas win games year one.

It's true this isn't the most intellectual board in the world. Maybe I should leave you guys alone. The judge didn't leave the kid alone in Blood Meridian.

My deal is it's basketball, sports, or whatever. We're competing for who's best. I think I can write against anyone in the world. That's how I was trained to write at Texas.

Just wondering if we could stay on subject.“Writing against” is an interesting choice of words. Is that what we are doing here?

Not really. Words matter. When I wrote "against" I meant competition. I wake up thinking about that kind of stuff.

Feels a bit like hi jacking threads regardless of your acumen as a writer. How about that Declan Duru?

Maybe initiate an open NBA discussion thread if that is what you are hot for? Nuff said on my part. I wish you well. Do as you may. No hard feelings… just a bit curious.

I understand. I'm not hot for anything. Sorry I bothered you.

Reminds of the Rangers v Cardinals World Series in 2011. Berkman hosed us.

You don't want to practice? I never stop practicing. That's why it's 5-0. Get your broke ass out there and block some shots.

I watched a video of Iverson signing a poster for a kid of Kobe blocking his shot. Iverson asked the kid if he had an extra. He wanted one. Because that's the best he ever was when Kobe was beating him.
