I got bored and hearing all the negative talk about recruiting. We are fine! We are gone lose out on some recruits to keep what we have. This defense will be a top defense in the nation again! 

LB is the position to be concerned about

 

Edge : Collin Simmons

Other side: vasek, uzemolou, Jackson, orogbo, wesley

DT: Watson and January your starters

Backups: Terry, Sharma, Charles, Johnson, hills, (kanu could go pro or transfer) then the 3 freshman ( Cleveland,berrymon,wells

 

Lbs: smith and Barnes your starters

Backups: Cunningham that’s literally it.

If they come back: Spence and Lefau

Lb has to hit portal and recruit the spot hard

 

Safety: jjr, Filsaime your starters

Backups: hicks and Williams. (Williams could start)

 

Could come back: Derrick Williams and McDonald. Could both go pro if they have the season we think they have

 

Corner: black and Phillips

 

Backups: (Roberson could start) Wilson, (bishop, Howard freshman )

I think we’ll still have lefau but Spence likely to draft. Safety depth chart is a question as your backups have more upside that the starters  Mack at nickel?

You came to the same conclusion that I did when I was looking at where we really need to prioritize nil. Need a war daddy recruit this year. Clearly staff will go portaling as well.

Backup safeties I agree the backups have more upside. Williams and hicks could definitely start, but because of what we’ve heard on JJR and him being a vet. I think he’s gone get the nod. Yes Mack at nickel. Littleton could challenge him but I have Mack ahead. 
 

LB I think they have to portal. Even if we land Atkinson. Need a vet there. I think Atkinson needs to be that war daddy you go all out for. 

I think Watson and January kind of play the same position.  Might need a bigger body next to them at Nose

Yes, I think they are both similar but I think those two are going to be the best players at DT the following year. Terry, Charles, and Sharma will all play. Maybe one of them pairs up with Watson and another with January. I just think personally those two are gone be your best two Interior lineman. Sharma 353, Charles 320, January 311, and I think Watson is 315.

They are going to have to. Even with smith and Barnes. Not a lot of experience. Hopefully Lefau comes back.
