Just got back home to Detroit for the Fourth of July. Made me think—having the the Longhorns ever had a player from Detroit? I know we had a backup catcher from the University of Ligget (like 10 mins from my parents place) last year but I can’t think of anyone else.

Thanks! Michigan is interesting. Not a whole lot of high end talent and when there is UM gobbles it up. MSU gets the scraps.

Martez Walker for men's hoops under Rick Barnes. He was only in the program for one season.

lol I didn’t go to Liggett so don’t hold that against me but it’s pretty close.
