Per a source close to the recruitment, this is a Michigan v Texas decision on the 27th. Neither Georgia or Bama have confidence as of today.

As OTF first reported this morning, the family plans to move to the state where Malakai plays in college. There is a family in the DFW area already. 

Michigan has been working from a position of strength since the spring. If there is one minus for them, the family isn't super stoked about the cold weather and winters. But not sure that's a deciding factor in today's day and age of recruiting.

This will not be a NIL only decision. There is more in play. 

Lee can envision himself at Texas. 

Nather Texas nor Michigan have been informed of a decision behind the scenes as of this morning. 

 

Lee might be the safest of the 3 tackle prospects 

Him and Turntine please.  

Lee and Turntine as the OTs would be a grand slam if we can get that done.

I hope Lee is so successful he makes enough money to buy back some aina in Hawaii from the howlies for his ohana… as a Texas ex mind you.

Some people are probably overreacting to the twitter videos of Ojo getting blitzed/steamrolled by Wesley, Kreul and Ford last weekend.  It wasn't pretty

Does Michigan getting Babalola and Haywood last cycle not go into his decision? Feels like the path to the field is a lot quicker at Texas.

Yeah possibly. Im not sure Ojo/Turntine want to compete for the LT spot together. I really hope we land Lee regardless, he's the most ready to play I believe.

This is a different class with their own NIL budget though.

Elite recruits who think like that end up not getting recruited by the top programs.  If they want a fast path, then they can go to San Diego State.

Exactly you said 2 not 3 tackles. I would imagine 3 is very unlikely, land 2 out of those 3 plus wright and that will be a grand slam haul
