Durant to the Rockets

Featured Replies

Building a team around Durant is a mistake based on his history in the NBA. He can’t stay healthy.

I hope we didnt give up on Jalen too soon for a 2 year rental for KD

Wouldn’t surprise me to see the Suns trade Green.

They're not building around KD. They're building around Amen and Sengun. KD is the scorer that was needed when the offense got stagnant

Props to the Suns for getting a better haul for KD than what the Mavs got for Luka.

If only the Suns could have tossed in oft-injured Bradley Beal and his two year $110,000,000 no-trade contract (take him for free!) as part of the deal ...

The fact that they also were able to keep Shepherd and offload the Jalen Green contract is a pretty massive piece to this as well.

Yep. Think of KD’s role like the one the Heat had for Ray Allen in 2013.

They don’t need him to be the player he was 10 years ago. The player he is now can get them closer to a title.

Does KD know this?

Well Jalen Green isn’t good so we’ll be fine

Surely you don’t actually think that’s what they’re doing

To say he isn't good is asinine. Elite athleticism and extremely talented. Just way to inconsistent

He actively dragged the team down. We were a much much better team without him. He is the reason we lost in the first round. If we simply had just cut him without even getting anything in return, we would’ve been a better team. Every player on the roster was better when playing without Jalen vs with Jalen

He’s an unstoppable scoring machine. He shot over 40% from three this year. I think they will be okay. He will miss games, but the guy came back full strength from a ruptured Achilles. They are banking on winning now.

He's smart enough to know what he is and what he isn't at this point in his career.

26 points a game and 40% from three this year. He definitely likes the team concept aspect, he always wanted it that way. Fitting into the team won’t be a problem. Obviously injuries are a concern, but I think they know that. He can take over if you want him to, but is fine passing to the hot hand.
