If reporters in other markets have information on Texas’ portal activity the staff views as sensitive, they have no reason to withhold it from publishing. I can tell you that we’re gathering information, but the combination of respecting sources and how fluid things are with portal recruiting make it tough to do minute-by-minute reporting.

This is true but in recent weeks his stock has slipped. We shall see but from what I’ve read and heard he has a high number to sign. Should he get out of top 15 may be a chance. Not a certainty by any means though.

And a good majority of that intel is wrong.

Theres a certain site that covers a different school that is putting out wrong information regarding Texas and baseball a lot lately. 
 

FWIW, I’m working on more portal notes. I also put out a piece a few days ago.
